Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967, in Atlanta. The fourth generation of the Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather, a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. He was a part of stage on the Emory University campus in 1952 and was also involved in productions outside of Atlanta. He joined the military in the year 1953. While located in Biloxi Mississippi, he appeared in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their daughter, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple left the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou began production on an on-sunday morning local children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. Within this period, they were blessed with two additional youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
