Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus after both fighters fought an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a majority decision.
