She's won her the Weblog of the Year Award in 2010, 2009 and 2011. Her parents are born in Bartlesville Oklahoma and she was brought up there. The blog features food-related photos on her blog. The show she created was The Pioneer Woman in 2011, which still airs through The Food Network. The book, mostly packed with cooking recipes as well as her own TV show. Columbia Pictures has announced the adapting her book "From Black Heels to tractor wheels" into a movie.
